Training StaffROB BREIDENBACH: ![]() JOY CLIKEMAN: Joy has been a FLAC member since it opened in 2002. She has been teaching cycling for four years. Joy is a Certified Cycling and Group Fitness Instructor, as well as a Certified Personal Trainer. Over the last four years, she has intensified her weight training workout to transform her body and achieve her personal goals. Joy feels strongly that strength training is a crucial component missing from most workouts, especially women. She is excited to help others uncover their potential and begin the journey for themselves. Joy believes true fitness is about balancing strength , cardio, nutrition, and attitude. ![]() HEIDI HANCOCK: Heidi is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and is a Certified Personal Trainer. She teaches step and works part-time at the front desk at FLAC. Heidi is a full-time teacher and is the track coach for Fontana Middle School and the cross country coach for Big Foot High School. She ran track at UW-Eau Claire and runs competitive triathlons, half marathons, and marathons. ![]() SINDY LEIBBRAND: Sindy is the Group Fitness Director at FLAC. She has been a group fitness instructor for more than 27 years. She is a Certified Group Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Zumba Gold, and Cycling Instructor and is a Certified Personal Trainer. Sindy was a member of the University of New Mexico Women’s Track and Field team and a WAC champion in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 4 x 100 meter event. She often travels to resorts as a Fit Travel Specialist. Sindy’s favorite form of exercise is anything that’s new! She believes in changing her routine and loves a new challenge. She continuously studies the mind-body connection. She also believes in practicing your balance daily! ![]() SONJA MARCINIW: Sonja joined FLAC as a member in January of 2002. She is a Certified Yoga, Pilates, Pilates Reformer, Cycling, and SilverSneakers® Instructor. She thoroughly enjoys teaching specially designed classes for seniors. Sonja has met many wonderful people at FLAC and enjoys their company both in and outside the gym. Sonja believes that change is a good thing, and is always looking for new ideas to keep things fun and interesting. ![]() JOE MONIOT: Joe is a Certified Personal Trainer and teaches Turbo-Kickboxing on Saturdays at FLAC. He is a 3rd dan black belt in Kyuki-Do and is belted in Judo and Jiu Jitsu. Joe is owner and head instructor at AKF Martial Arts in Delavan. Joe loves to work hard and challenge himself and others. ![]() RACHEL PERSON: Rachel has been a FLAC member since the day the doors opened. She is a Certified Group Fitness, Group Strength Training, and SilverSneakers® Instructor and is a Certified Personal Trainer. She currently teaches a variety of strength training and cycling classes at FLAC. Rachel is also a stylist at Impreza Salon and so her objective is to make people look good on the outside and feel good on the inside (with the help of fitness). Rachel is very interested in helping members include fitness as part of their lifestyle and loves to develop programs for FLAC’s teen members. Rachel has always led an active lifestyle and has a true passion for fitness. ![]() JASON PLALE: Jason is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer. He teaches cycling and “X-treme” Athletic Performance at FLAC. Jason has a passion for strength training and competes in numerous Strong Man competitions. He has completed the EAS challenge and has competed in various body building shows. Jason likes to put people in a position to succeed by structuring nutrition and training programs around the individual. ![]() KERRI REED: Kerri started teaching group fitness classes twenty years ago and currently teaches step, cycling, and weight training at FLAC. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Cycling Instructor, and Exercise Specialist. She has a BS in Education and a MS in Exercise Physiology (with an emphasis in nutrition). She has worked as a health education specialist for 15 years in Cardiac Rehabilitation and currently at FLAC and in Lake Geneva. She helps clients with weight loss, strength training, cholesterol reduction, diabetes control, and anything heart or wellness-related. Kerri loves to change her routine to avoid plateau and definitely feels strength training is essential at any age She feels that diet significantly influences how well you perform, how you feel throughout the day, and your ability to reach your goals. |
